Brightwave RSS Feeds.

We now offer the possibility of receiving news and information from Brightwave via RSS channels (Really Simple Syndication). To read news from our RSS channels you need a news reader like Bloglines, News Gator or Yahoo. It's really simple, just click on the XML button below to subscribe to one or more of the channels and our news will be delivered directly into your news reader as and when they happen.

Brightwave currently offers five RSS feeds that can notify you whenever new content is published:

RSS feed Press releases: Our latest press releases.
RSS feed Case studies: Our latest case studies.
RSS feed Events: Information about our events.
RSs feed Bright ideas: Our latest articles.
RSS feed All channels: News from all channels.

If you would like to get to know about our events make sure you subscribe to the event channel. This is the only place where we advertise our events as the majority of them are only open to delegates who have received a personal invitation.

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML standard that provides a simple way for websites and blogs to syndicate news and information to their readers. An RSS feed provides a list of recent content posted to a Web site, with links to each new page. By subscribing to an RSS feed, you're automatically notified whenever new content that's of interest to you is posted.

Subscribing to RSS news feeds

To "subscribe" to an RSS feed, you'll need to install RSS News reader software. Once you have a reader installed, you can subscribe to any of the feeds listed above. Different readers have different ways you can subscribe to a feed, but in general you'll want to click on one of the links above to navigate to the feed page and either use your reader's "subscribe" button or copy the feed's URL manually into your reader.

Once you've subscribed, the RSS reader periodically checks the feed to see if any new content has been posted. The reader then retrieves any new news added to the feed.

The Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) website has an overview of RSS technology and links to a few RSS readers you can use to read RSS feeds.

Trouble subscribing?

Some RSS feed readers such as News Gator and Bloglines offer a convenient "one-click subscribe" feature that allows users to navigate to a website or blog home page, click a "subscribe" button and automatically add the RSS feed offered on the site. But such a feature doesn't always work well on sites that offer multiple feeds. If you have problems trying to subscribe to our feeds you can also try to navigate directly to the RSS feed pages themselves and then subscribe.

If you have any further problems or other questions about our RSS feeds feel free to send us an email and we'll try our best to help you.
